This term sees John Lyon’s annual lecture series, Talks-on-the-Hill, return for its third year, on Thursday 4th February at 7.00pm. The talk will be held remotely, making it possible to host speakers from further afield for what promises to be a fascinating event.
Having hosted a range of excellent speakers to talk about Space in 2019 and The Body in 2020, this year will see us explore the realities and perceptions of plagues, in an event entitled La Peste. Inspired by the 20th century novel of the same name by French philosopher Albert Camus, Talks-on-the-Hill: La Peste will address the subject of plague from different perspectives, with 15-minute talks given by four speakers, details below. To join the event, please register here.
