On Friday 10th November, six of our Old Lyonians joined the entire Senior School community and gathered on the Red House lawn to observe a two-minute silence ahead of Armistice Day.
The names of Old Lyonians who gave their lives in service were also read out as a show of gratitude.
The ceremony concluded with Andy Marsden-Jones (OL1973), OLA Secretary, laying a wreath along with our Head, Mrs Rose Hardy, as a symbolic gesture to honor the fallen and remember all those who have lost their lives in conflict.
OLs in atttendance:
Ian Frost (OL1985), Douglas Milsom (OL1957), Mike Christelow (OL1973), Rev Hugh Wikner (OL1964) and Ian McAulay (OL1964).
