Dear Old Lyonians,
It is with great excitement that we would like to announce that our John Lyon Secret Postcard Event 2024 is now live!
The auction brings together original artwork by pupils, parents, and staff, of both the Prep and Senior School, as well as a selection of professional artists including Maya Coleborn, Adam Caedmon, Nick Brown, Sarah Levin, Vika Gorbikyamka, Andra Placiutescu, Kaya Kligh, in what is both an art competition and charity fundraiser, with all proceeds raised going to UNICEF.
There are over one hundred postcards to choose from in a broad range of media and styles, all created on high quality, heavy weight A5 card.
Please support us and make a bid for a unique work of Art. You may be buying a piece of professionally made artwork or one made by one of our talented pupils, who may well be an artist of the future! If your child produced a work of art, please support them with a bid and help us to raise as much for charity as we can. Please bid for artwork by clicking here:
Finally, we would also like to encourage as many of you as possible to attend the private view which will be held on Thursday 6th June from 4.30-5.30pm in the Mall Gallery, John Lyon School. Refreshments and canapés will be served, this will be a perfect opportunity to collect any postcards you have purchased.
Best of luck!
Yours sincerely,
Mr N Brown
