A Moment Across Generations

Three brothers, one shared legacy - captured decades after their JLS School days.

Peter Done, who left school in 1956, reflects on a moment that brings together not just memories, but family and tradition. His “Capture 150 Moment” is a photograph taken at the 2019 Annual Dinner - a powerful image featuring Peter alongside his two brothers, George Done, OL '53 stands proudly at the centre, with John Done, OL '69 to his left and Peter to his right.

Though many years have passed since their days at John Lyon, the image captures something timeless: a shared experience that shaped each of their lives and continues to connect them.

Moments like these remind us that the school’s story is not just about buildings or dates, but about people, families, friendships, and memories that endure across generations.
