John Lyon School held its second careers evening for the academic year on Tuesday the 5th December in Medicine and Healthcare.
All our amazing speakers, made up of Old Lyonians -- Shai Patel OL (1983) cardiothoracic surgeon, Amir Bhogal (OL 2015) pharmacist and Ali Al-Naher (OL 2015) dentist -- and external speakers Krisha Manandhar (veterinarian), Henry McCloghry (Navy Surgeon Sub-Lieutenant), Shivaani Patel (podiatrist) and Seema Shah (optometrist), went above and beyond in engaging our pupils with future prospects.
The interactive event was led by Mr George McCastman, teacher of Biology, and was followed by a Q&A session with further networking for parents and pupils to direct their questions to the individual speakers. We look forward to our next Careers in Entrepreneurship in the new year.
