The Goldhawk Lecture series is designed to give students insight into a wide range of career paths and life experiences as they prepare for life after school.

During his talk, Jeff encouraged students to think more openly about their own futures, sharing his creative journey from DJing and broadcasting to performance, stand-up comedy and voice acting. After studying English Literature and Theatre Studies at Warwick University, he worked with major UK networks before moving to the United States, where he performed at leading comedy venues and built an international voice-acting career. His work includes the role of ‘Ghost’ in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, as well as projects for Star Wars and Total War.

Throughout his talk, Jeff encouraged students to be open to new experiences and to step outside their comfort zones, explaining how this helped him discover his interests and shape his career. He also spoke openly about his own experiences with mental health, encouraging students to seek help and support if they are facing challenges.

Following his talk, Jeff met with Drama Scholars for a lively Q&A session, answering questions about starting a career in voice acting, his upcoming production company and future projects.

Jeff’s honest and engaging delivery kept students highly engaged and left them with valuable insights into managing stress, making confident decisions and keeping perspective during school life.
