The Old Lyonian Association Annual Dinner 2023 left me feeling a bag of nerves with under 30 attending 2 weeks ahead of the actual day but how quickly things changed - over 80 Old Lyonians made the journey back to School and made the event a huge success.
Attendees all enjoyed this tremendous evening of drinks, archive exhibition and a wonderful a 4 course meal, ending it with the three ‘c’; cheeseboards, chocolates and coffee.
The event was celebrated with Paul Matarewicz, OLA President with a poignant speech recognising the commitment from Katherine Haynes, Head of John Lyon School, to the OLA and was presented a bouquet of flowers from the Head Boy and Deputy Head Boy.
A massive thanks to everyone who contributed to the event being such a huge success. For those who could not attend, we hope to see you next year and please do browse through the photo gallery and enjoy the moments caught on camera.
Best wishes
