Our Autumn Meeting was once again held at Stanmore Golf Club last Friday in glorious sunshine on a course that was in very good condition with fast tricky greens.
Following on from his victory at Northwood GC at the Spring Meeting Hugh Wikner is becoming a serial winner by picking up the Campbell/Paines Claret Jug for the best Stableford score with a magnificent 39 points total with Rick Harragin runner up and last years winner Roger Baker in third.
The ever-reliable Sam Koch playing off 2 again picked up Mikes Mug for the best gross round shooting a highly commendable 72 with David Lemmon finishing runner up.
Our last fixture for this year is on the 2nd October when 24 of us are visiting The Warwickshire near Leamington Spa for our annual over-night trip.
