What did you do after leaving John Lyon?
I went to UWE Bristol for Business Management.
Can you describe what you have done in your career so far?
I have been a full time artist for the last 8 years. Painting on leather goods such as sneakers, and I have collaborated directly with brands such as Jimmy Choo, Harrods, Universal Music Group, Sushi Samba London, Peroni & many others!
How did your experience at John Lyon prepare you for/or shape your future?
I extremely enjoyed my art experience at John Lyon School, especially with Lorna Hope, my art teacher, who guided me and awarded me a fine art scholarship. The school was very, very enjoyable and I made friends for life.
What has been your proudest achievements so far?
Becoming the first official Artist in Residence at Harrods in Knightsbridge.
What was your fondest memory from being at John Lyon?
All the friends I made, as well as great sports and my art classes.
Are you still involved with the School and if so, in what way and why is it important for you to be involved in this way?
Not really before this, but am happy to discover more about the community!
What is one piece of advice you would give to a current pupil?
The world is changing and careers can be very niche and varied. It is hugely important to know if you want to follow your dream & passion it is possible.
