John Lyon are hosting a TEDxJohnLyonSchool event in November 2023 and would welcome the opportunity for you to be part of this event.

The TED an annual event brings together the world's leading thinkers and doers to share ideas that matter in any discipline — technology, entertainment, design, science, humanities, business, development.  The TEDx talk is usually 5-10 minutes long, showcasing great, well-formed ideas. John Lyon have delivered a range of speakers: pupils, parents, members of staff, governors, and members of the Hill community.

If you would like to give a talk please email Excellence@johnlyon.org with the details of the talk you would like to give, please include a title and the main ideas you want to convey.

The deadline for applications has been extended to Friay 9th June. Once all applications are received, a committee will review them carefully and selected speakers will be notified by Monday 3 July. If you are selected, you will be given guidance to write your talk and coaching in order to deliver it to the right standard.

All TEDxJohnLyonSchool talks will be professionally filmed during the event and put online after the event on the TEDx Youtube channel.
