Reunions |
After a disappointed turnout with only four OL’s attending out of the 22 confirmed, nonetheless the evening started with an informative tour around the school, where two of the OL’s were impressed with the changes to the school environment. Many tried to recollect the original setting of the school and looking through past publications and school photos certainly highlighted the many changes through the decades.
Amble drinks were laid out and a delicious Indian buffet was prepared by the School catering team in the New Memorial Hall.
The Head, Katherine Haynes and Head of Sixth Form, Stephen Mepham and the few OL’s each shared their individual journey since leaving the School 10/15/20 years ago.
The evening ended with each OL taking a doggy bag of food to share with their family and friends. A huge thank you to the Head Boy Team, Max Wilkinson, Charn Bamrah and most importantly the catering team for their support.
Whilst attendance was disappointingly low, I think all in all, everyone had a brilliant time and thoroughly enjoyed being back at School.
