Remembrance
Every year John Lyon School and the Old Lyonians remember those who died fighting in wars. On Friday, the whole School gathered in the Red House Garden with OLs for an Act of Remembrance which included an address from the OLA Chaplain, Hugh Wikner, the reading out of the names of the OLs who died in the Great War, and the laying of wreaths.

The President of the OLA, Paul Matarewicz, laid a wreath with the Head of John Lyon, Katherine Haynes, on behalf of the School.  This year, Liam Moore (OL 1998 - 2005) returned to School to lay a wreath on behalf of the OLs with current Prefect Javier D'Souza.
